Josh Fein’s prolific professional background includes vast experience in luxury marketing and sales for cutting-edge design brands such as Andrew Martin and Tui Lifestyle, as well as lifestyle publications including Architectural Digest and Florida International Magazine. Four years spent as the marketing director at the Design Center of the Americas (DCOTA) have given him a thorough understanding of luxury interior design, consumer habits, and solid relationships with many of the leading home brands in the world. In addition to his residential projects, Fein also specializes in yacht design. He has a bachelor’s degree in art history from the Savannah College of Art & Design.
Jenny Zalkin has parlayed her love for fashion into a career in interior design and home decoration. A former image consultant who specialized in fashion styling, wardrobe refinement and personal shopping, Zalkin tackles each project with a keen eye for style and layering. This approach allows her to create spaces that are eye-catching, warm and functional. By thoroughly communicating with clients and learning about their lifestyle habits and day-to-day needs, she’s able to customize residences that are an extension of the people who live in them. Zalkin was the 2014 recipient of the Star on The Rise Award from the Design Center of the Americas (DCOTA), one of the leading complexes of luxury design showrooms in the country.
A graduate of the University of Florida, Brooke Friedman-Meltzer holds a bachelor of science degree in interior design as well as NCIDQ certification. With more than 15 years of interior design and architecture experience under her belt, Friedman-Meltzer has built a solid career as a design professional. Her accomplishments have not gone unnoticed. In 2006, she won HGTV’s Designer’s Challenge competition and has been recognized by Tiffany & Co. as a Star of Tomorrow, a prestigious award given to the top 10 up-and-coming interior designers in Florida as a recognition for their achievements. Friedman-Meltzer has also appeared weekly on NBC-6’s South Florida Today Show to share design tips and ideas with viewers. Additionally, her commercial and residential work has been featured extensively in publications such as The Miami Herald, The Sun-Sentinel and The Palm Beach Post.
Bryn Clancy started her design career in New York working for Meg Braff Design and the McCall-Vogue fabric library, where she assisted in the construction and development of supplement books that highlighted upcoming fashion and design trends for the magazine. She went on to open her own interior design firm at the age of 21 and quickly gained a clientele that included top financial executives with homes in Manhattan and Long Island. After many lucrative years in New York, she decided to relocate to South Florida to work for ROMO, a British high-end fabrics line at the Design Center of the Americas (DCOTA), where she has managed the southeast territory in the state of Florida for the past eight years. Clancy’s experience includes various posts at design firms throughout Florida specializing in both commercial and residential projects. She holds a business and marketing bachelor’s degree from the prestigious Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University.
Born with a natural disposition towards design, Christel Lingen immediately followed up high school with a year-long design program at the renowned Bauhaus University in Germany. After cultivating her creativity, Christel went on to hone her skills at Savannah College of Art and Design where she earned her BFA in Architecture as well as a United Way Volunteers Award for her humanitarian efforts. Post-graduation, Christel interned with esteemed designer Pepe Calderin and developed real world insight into the architectural process. Soon thereafter, Christel returned home to Ecuador to work with several construction firms, gaining more invaluable experience along the way. Contemplative by nature and attentive to detail, Christel pairs creative prowess with an organizational mindset to consistently bring new, actionable ideas to the table. She is also a recent winner of the Small Firms/Small Projects Design Award given by the Boston Society of Architects and is certified in Autodesk’s Building Performance Analysis.
